Consumer awareness is the knowledge and understanding a buyer should have about a product, service, or brand before making a purchase. It promotes fair trade, quality assurance, and trust in the market.
COPRA was enacted in 1986 to safeguard the interests of consumers. It provides a legal framework to address complaints and seek redressal at district, state, and national levels.
Consumers can file complaints based on value of goods/services at district, state or national consumer commissions.
I would like to thank Mr. Sharad for his invaluable support and guidance in completing this project.
This project taught me how to identify fraud and be a responsible consumer.
